The workshop is organized by the Department of Geography of the University of Tirana in collaboration with IGU – UGI, the International Geographical Union, respectively with one of the Commissions of this Union, the Commission for the Geography of Governance..

The workshop will be in hybrid mode, and will be outlined with a full day with references in five different thematic sections, and followed by two days of field study. A total of 22 presentations will be held, by 35 authors and co-authors, including distinguished professors of geography, landscape sciences, and cultural and natural heritage, from over 12 different universities, from 7 countries around the world such as Italy, Slovenia, France, Greece, Tunisia, Albania, Portugal.

This Workshop will contribute to the further internationalization of the University of Tirana. The Workshop will be supported with logistics and organization by the Faculties of History and Philology.
