A group of 9 professors and 8 doctoral students from the University of Pécs, Hungary, successfully completed a 10-day field study visit, supported by the Pannonia program. In this context, the “Round Table Discussion” activity entitled “Regional - Development - Political - Geography” was held at the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Geography of the University of Pécs, with a focus on the methodology of field studies and long-term cooperation between the two Departments. The Hungarian colleagues were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Geography, Prof. Dr. Mark Marku, and held discussions with professors of the Department of Geography and with its Master and PhD students. The conclusion from both sides was that the concrete perspective of inter-institutional cooperation in the near future looks excellent.
