The faculty of History and Philology is one of the six faculties of the University of Tirana, albania. Today, it consists of six departments, all of which exert their action research in fields such as History, Geography, language and Linguistics, Literature, Media and Communication, Archaeology, and Cultural Heritage. The faculty offers study programs at all levels.
Integrated into the State University of Tirana since its establishment in 1957, the Faculty of History and Philology, today it offers 6 programs of study, Bachelor's degrees, 13 programs, graduate studies, Master of Science and Master of Professional, as well as studies on the level of doktoral.
The faculty is at the basis of the activities of its SCIENTIFIC sense CRITICAL thinking in support of the formation of the pedagogical and research activities. The activities of the academic promoted out of the department are to provide a significant contribution to the SOCIAL LIFE of the country.
The staff of our Faculty take an active part in RESEARCH PROJECTS, in collaboration and partnership with your colleagues and the INSTITUTIONS OF the FOREIGN FUNCTION.
The faculty of History and Philology, has as primary objective the preparation of teachers, journalists, scholars of the history of archaeology, cultural heritage, language, and literature of geography, media and communication, and through programs and research.

- Të kuptuarit: Studenti mund të kuptojë shprehje dhe një fjalor shumë të përdorshëm që lidhet me veten, familjen e tij, blerjet, mjedisin e afërt, punën dhe profesionin. Ai mund të kapë thelbin e lajmërimeve, të mesazheve të thjeshta dhe të qarta. Gjithashtu, ai mund të lexojë tekste të shkurtra, informacione të veçanta, dokumente të përditshme si: reklama, fletëpalosjet, menutë, oraret, si dhe letra personale të shkurtra dhe të thjeshta. Studenti ka një fjalor të ngushtë që i përmbahet nevojave të përditshme konkrete.
- Të folurit: Studenti mund të komunikojë gjatë kryerjes së detyrave të thjeshta dhe të zakonshme, të cilat kërkojnë një shkëmbim informacioni të thjeshtë dhe të drejtpërdrejtë mbi tema dhe veprimtari të njohura. Mund të kuptojë dhe të marrë pjesë në mënyrë të mjaftueshme bashkëbisedime të thjeshta. Gjithashtu, ai mund të përdorë një seri frazash për të përshkruar thjeshtë familjen e vet, banesën, si dhe profesionin e tij.
- Të shkruarit: Studenti mund të shkruajë shënime dhe mesazhe të thjeshta dhe të shkurtra, si edhe letër personale falënderimi shumë të thjeshtë.
- Njohuri gramatikore: Studenti mund të përdorë disa struktura të thjeshta gramatikore, duke njohur rastet më të thjeshta të përdorimit të emrave, përemrave dhe foljeve.
